Anne A. Thompson

Anne Thompson is a third-year law student at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a certified student attorney with extensive courtroom experience. At the Anoka County Public Defender’s Office, Anne has represented clients at bail hearings, pre-trial motions, and contested omnibus hearings under attorney supervision. She has also drafted motions in limine and legal memoranda, conducted in-depth legal analysis, and worked closely with trial teams on witness preparation.

Fluent in Spanish, Anne is particularly skilled at building trust with clients from diverse backgrounds and has a strong command of evidentiary review, procedural strategy, and pre-trial litigation. Prior to law school, she held several public-facing roles in crisis advocacy, nonprofit marketing, and newsroom operations. Her communication skills and case-readiness make her a valuable asset to the BK Law Group team.
