Charges: Felony Offense Our client originally faced a felony carrying serious long term consequences. Through negotiations and preparation for litigation, we secured a resolution that eliminated the felony conviction and substantially reduced the consequences of the case.

Charges: Felony and Misdemeanor Offenses The most serious charge against our client carried felony consequences and substantial sentencing exposure. We focused negotiations and litigation strategy on eliminating that exposure. The felony was dismissed, allowing the matter to resolve on a significantly reduced charge.

Charges: Gross Misdemeanor Offense Our client faced the enhanced consequences of a gross misdemeanor conviction. After challenging the evidence and negotiating with the prosecution, we secured a reduction to a misdemeanor, substantially limiting the consequences of the case.

The police investigation told only one side of the story. Our defense team conducted its own investigation, located additional evidence, and presented information that fundamentally changed the prosecution’s view of the case. The State dismissed the charges rather than proceed to trial.

Our client refused to plead guilty to an offense the State could not prove. We challenged the evidence, prepared witnesses, and positioned the case for trial. When the prosecution could not overcome the problems in its case, all charges were dismissed.

Charges: Felony Offense Our client went to trial facing a felony conviction and the possibility of prison. We challenged the State’s witnesses, attacked weaknesses in its evidence, and presented the defense case. The trial ended with a complete acquittal and no felony conviction.

Matter: Wrongful Death We represented surviving family members following a devastating wrongful death. After developing the claim and pursuing compensation on behalf of the heirs, the matter resolved through a confidential settlement satisfactory to our clients.

Kandiyohi County –  State dismissed drug and gun charges against our client after MTF argued that the Court’s ruling previously in the case was error due to new Minnesota Supreme Court case law (State v. Torgerson).

Ramsey County — Client was facing a presumptive mandatory minimum 60 month prison sentence. Avoided incarceration.

Hennepin County – Felony Gun Charge outright dismissal.  Client was charged with a felony firearm possession and gross misdemeanor carrying a pistol without a permit.  Pretrial motions were brought challenging the constitutionality of the stop, search, and seizure.  The State filed an outright dismissal of all charges.
